What Does this Ultrasound test Result Mean?

Ultrasound report states there is a 2.7cm solid mass on ovary that has nonspecific features and is hyperechoic with internal color flow and should be considered neoplastic until proved otherwise and 2cm simple ovarian follicular cyst. What does this mean?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted you have one simple cyst ..that is of no worry....usually it will resolve with time.
If not resolve then hormonal pill given....

But main worry is mass....
It could be neoplastic mass....
So need to be investigated.
Consult surgeon or gynecologist for it...
USG guided FNAC needed for further work up.
Best confirmatory would be biopsy with subsequent histopathological examination...
If proves neoplastic need to be removed.

Take care.
